Folk have gathered here forever – here is what some of the more recent visitors say about our modern eco-facilities;

What we liked about Fernhill Farm:-

lots of space to fit us all in comfortably; comfy beds, having a double bed & the cage bed!;

warm in the building & bathrooms good; help yourself to tea & coffee, vegetarian food option – yum!;

Camping barnslovely people, loved the atmosphere & the staff were nice;

activities were really good, tour of the farm & the animal tour; opportunities the owners gave us – shearing, knitting & woollen workshop;

 lots of room, nice big area to roam free;

 out in the countryside & different environment for us;

independence, felt safe, relaxing; evening bonfires & singing; peg loom weaving

occupies us away from modern technology; gets us in a fresher environment;

a learning experience in the way other people live;

forget home trouble & just have fun”

We believe in real experiences & pride ourselves on our bespoke approach ~ having the flexibility to host festivals, functions & family feasts, workshops, welly walks & winter wonderland muddy boot groups

YOU TOO can become part of the bigger picture in restoring this ancient farmstead whilst enjoying a true Arcadian Place to Stay
